Climate & When To Go

Best time March and July to October in Maasai Mara.

Game viewing is best during the dry season, mid-December to March and July to October.

The best time to see the migration is from approximately mid-June to mid-November when great herds of wildebeest and zebra reside in the Mara region and northern Tanzania before returning to Serengeti National Park

They usually return to Tanzania in late October or early November. The best time to witness large numbers of wildebeest and zebra crossing the Mara River is from mid/late July to late October.
