Cairns has water-temperature 25 during the winter, June and July. The water temperature is 30 degrees from August to December.

Stingers from October/beginning of November to the end of Mars. If you want to avoid stingers you have to go from April to September. April and May is nice in Sweden so it is better to go some other months. It is too cold during the winter, June and July. The best time is August and/or September.
