Magaluf ( 3 nights, Wednesday => Saturday )

Flight: Gotneburg => Palma de Mallorca

 

In the airport there is information centre where you can get more info. The information centre is opened 9-14 and 15-20 hours 9-14 on Saturdays. There is a bus plan for all the buses on the island in the window, so you can get info even during closing hours. First bus to Palma is 06.15 and last is 02.15 hours. The information is in the arrival lounge, next to "Puente de Encuentra" (Meeting point)

Once on Plaza España, there is an other  information office, to pick up  time tables. The information is open daily 9.00 hour to 20.00 hour. Saturday 9.00 hour to 13.30 hour. Sunday and public holidays closed. You find the information office on the train station between the two buildings. Get map

 

TIB: Transporte de les Illes Balear. From the internet you can download the time tables Link to other web siteClick here.  Time tables are in 4 languages.   The busses are  parked in the street called Eusibi Estada, just round the corner from the train station on Plz. España. The main concentration of buses, however, leave from Palma de Mallorca bus station

 

Palma de Mallorca bus station, situated a few hundred meters further down the street. Here you find another information centre as well, opened from 9.00 to 13.00 hour and again at 15.00 to 19.00 hour. Every day. There is a cafeteria here also where you can kill any waiting time.

Bus: Airport => Plaza España

Bus 1 to Plaza España

From the airport you can take a bus to Plaza España. It is  bus No. It will continue from there to the ferry terminal, running along Avenidas, Paseo Mallorca, Via Argentina and Paseo Maritimo. It is leaving every 15 minutes.

 

Bus: Plaza España => Magaluf

At the bus station, take bus Nr. 104 or 106, with direction Magaluf.

Throughout the day and well into the evening, buses from Magaluf to Palma run every 35 minutes or so, and at less than £2.50 for the journey do represent excellent value for money. One word of advice though, these buses can become very crowded, and have in the past been known to attract pickpockets.

Although these taxis do all operate on a fixed price basis, this "fixed price" can, and often does, vary slightly depending upon the number of suitcases, the time of day or night of the journey, and of course the number of passengers carried, however, as a very general guide the short journey to Magaluf should normally cost somewhere in the region of 35 euro to 40 euro.

Probably less than 5 km with taxi.

From ferry: Bus 1 to Avenida Argentina. Walk through the park, across the bridge and along the city wall. Take the first left into Plaza Drassana. Turn right into Carrer Apuntadores next to the Escape Bar.

Just a short way with taxi. Normally easy walking distance.

Other Direction! From the Metro Station "Paral•lel" (green line - L3) you have to take the exit Sant Pau, and then Fontrodona. when you get of the metro just walk straight 1 minute, when you see Domino's Pizza turn to the left! The street is called Poeta Cabanyes, so walk to the number 23!
